RUSSIAN GULLIVER → CENTER OF CONTEMPORARY LITERATURE AND RUSSIAN GULLIVER PUBLISHERS (est. 2004)

Nonprofit Partnership Center of contemporary literature and the editorial project Russian Gulliver started up back in 2005 having published together with the Nauka (Science) Publishing house the noncommercial authors (writers, poets). Today, the Russian Gulliver is an independent project in the Russian language.

.jpgThe publishing house chooses the authors as consistent with its views on how much in demand those authors are – not on the book market, though, but rather in the cultural and literature environment, be it intellectual, artistic or fundamental. The “Russian Gulliver” today is a meta project, brotherhood of authors stepping outside the boundaries of strictly publishing.

The actionism of the “Russian Gulliver” includes ritual performances all over the world, identified by the “Gulliver” as “poetry in action”, such as mixing sacred soils (to bring the religions together); helping to avert floods by using poetic incantations (to stop or call rain), paradoxical actions (the president of Russia elections with the participation of King Solomon, Khlodwig, the Baptist of Francs and Osceola the Chief of the Seminole).

logotype vertical.jpgOur authors have been the recipients of such literary awards as “Russian Booker Prize”, “Big Book”, “Debut”, Andrey Belyi Award, “Moscow Count”, “Russian Prize”, etc.

Since 2012 the “Russian Gulliver” has been publishing an illustrated large-volume magazine “Gvideon”. In 2014 the “Russian Gulliver” prize was established.
